Loan Policy of Seminar Room
Seminar Rooms are designed for course instruction or academic discussion
use and available for PU faculty, staff and students. A borrowing group
must be 3 or more people.
Borrowers are required to present PU ID and check out
rooms (keys) in person at Circulation Desk.
Seminar rooms are available to be reserved up to 2 weeks
(booking hours are up to 12 hours) in advance. Requests
for reservations throughout a semester are not allowed.
Reservation holders must check out the rooms (keys) within 15
minutes after the reservation time. After the time, the
reservation is invalid.
Loan period for a Seminar Room is 4 hours, a patron may have
only one room checked out at a time. Reservation
holders/borrowers are non-transferable.
During the loan period of the rooms, please close the door (DO
NOT luck the door) and keep the voices down.
||The rooms (keys) must be returned
within 10 minutes prior to the due time.
All personal belongings should be removed by borrowers when
returning Seminar Rooms. The Library staff have the right to
remove away all personal stuff left in the rooms. The
left stuff will be held under claim for 1 month, after 1 month,
unclaimed stuff will be disposed of.
||The unchecked-out materials are not
allowed in the rooms. The Library staff have the right to take
away unchecked-out materials in the rooms and have them shelved
within the stacks.
||An overdue fine is NT$5 per
Replacement costs for a missing key are NT$100.
||All Seminar Rooms are subject to recall. The Library staff have the right,
without borrowers' permissions, to
take appropriate actions in checked-out Seminar Rooms when
||Food, beverages and cell phone use are not
allowed in the Seminar Rooms. Do not make big noise and move
Library facilities or equipments around.
||Failure to comply with this
policy may result in suspension of loan privileges for 30
||Matters not provided herein shall
be governed by existing Library rules and policies.
This policy and amendments thereof take effect
after the approval of The Library Administration.
